James Krenov - (1920-2009)

America has lost the last giant of American Craft. We were blessed to interview Mr. Krenov at the College of Redwoods a month before his retirement. The interview was for the book Craft Furniture: Legacy of the Human Hand. James Krenov (along with George Nakashima, Wharton Esherick & Sam Maloof) set the stage for the modern Amercan craft movement. James, you will be missed - Dennis & Denise Blankemeyer.
